Anyone here into the Evil Dead triology? Those are among my top favorite movies of all time. Bruce Campbell is just freaking amazing! Anyways, which Evil Dead flick do you like the most and what are some of your favorite scenes from the movies?
I love the part in ED II when Ash's hand becomes possessed and he starts beating himself up and smashing plate over his head. lol
"NO! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! I'VE NEVER SEEN THESE A**HOLES BEFORE!!!"
"Well, hello there Mr. Fancy Pants! You've only got two things goin' for ya right now! Jack and sh*t! And Jack left town!"
"Well....that's just what we call pillow talk baby!"

ED II and AOD are considerably different from EDI. EDI is truly a b-rated horror movie. But the other two (even though they are technically classified as "horror") are geared more towards action, adventure and comedy. Director Sam Raimi is a huge Three Stooges fan, so that was a major influence on him with the comedy part. Ya gotta check 'em out. I promise you will NOT be disappointed. :headbang:

I saw ED I and II long before AoD came out and while they were still considered "underground" classics.
They're all special in their own ways.
ED I is, to date, the only movie to make me and my ne'er-do-well friends all sit up and go "OOOOOOOOOOH!" at the ankle stabbing scene.
ED II is, I think, the most well put together of the three films and is my personal favorite. It's got that goldilocks thing going for it. Not too serious. Not too funny. Not so big budget that it loses it's campiness. Not so low budget that you can't take it seriously.
AoD, however, is the most quotable of the three, and that goes a long way with me. I mean... any move that adds "Allright you primitive screw-heads, listen up!" to the lexicon of acceptable ways of opening up a briefing... that deserves some credit.
