Love em!! I'm a HUGE fan of theirs. I have all of their albums, and a couple of compilations with rare songs, and an Amerika single.

Have every album.I find the band rather interesting. Most of their lyrics are dumb, the music is repetative and not that agressive they are trying to make it.A good band, though.Dunno why, but I like them. Some lyrics are awesome, eg Alter Mann. That's fantastic.

Indeed. Sehnsucht was the first album I picked up in 1998. Alter Mann is my favorite song among many here. Spiel Mit Mir and Klavier are also outstanding tracks. I initially thought that was their first album, until they released Herzeleid in the States in 1999, and I learned that was actually their first album.
Mutter was the first album I literally waited for 3 years to get, and I wan't disappointed. Sonne, Mein Herz Brennt, and Rein Raus are some great ones.
I'm too much into this band to dislike anything they do. Flawed or not, I appreciate everything they've ever put out.

I really like Reise Reise. MY friend has Mutter as well and I listened to it about 3 times and I think it has nothing to offer compared to Reise Reise.

Heh, it always depends on which album you hear first.

Well, I didn't like Reise Reise at first either. The 2nd listen hooked me. You can't deny both albums are really different so it's not just because I heard Reise Reise first that I like it best.
deffinatly i heard Rosenrot first but then went back to hear some of there older stuff. I have to agree Mutter has got to be the best one out of all of them.

I have both of their videos.
I have Live Aus Berlin on VHS. The reason for that is because Buck Dich was removed from the DVD version. If anyone has ever seen that live video, you know what I'm talking about.
Lichtspielhaus, on the other hand, is totally awesome, and definitely worth the money. It has all their videos all the way up to the Mutter album, plus interviews and behind the scenes stuff with the band, like making of the videos, etc.
There's also a few songs from various live shows thrown in there, too.

I would imagine it's lyrics like 'Spiel mit mir' most likely.
I remember hearing them on a compilation of industrial stuff back in the mid '90s, my first thought was: "Hmm, sounds like Laibach".
yeah i havent really looked up their lyrics...i looked up a couple and they were clean...but idk about the rest.

I seem to remember reading some of their translated lyrics a while back and thinking, man, this is some demented crap, but I don't mind their music. Still don't listen to them though.

The "Völkerball" DVD is amazing and I recommend it to everyone who likes the band! It includes concerts in France, England, Japan and Russia. What I like the most is that Rammstein play 100% for the fans!

Not about Rammstein, though I like it. But I 'd like to greet you and say I am glad to meet you, as I visited Bulgaria (Varna) in 1990 and enjoyed my stay very much!!! Besides, my article was published in a compilation of articles issued by Varna Technical University and the Ukrainian Ministry of Science and Education. (I am Ukrainian, though I live in Russia).

Thank you very much! I am also very glad to meet you. Some of my best friends are from Russia and Ukraine (they live in Bulgaria) and I feel kindly towards your nations and culture. Besides the Russian heavy metal band Aria is one of my favorite bands:headbang: .( Rammstein made a very interesting cover of Aria`s Shtiel by the way)

Hi again! I also like Rammstein's version of Schtiel! I also keep contact via e-mail with Sergey Terentyev Aria's former solo gutarist. Now he has his own band, 'Arteria'.

So a Dutchmen is to German as a Scotsman is to an Englishman? ;)
But yes, I am extremely fond of Rammstein. Probably one of the best mainstream rock/metal bands... Catchy and full of gimmicks that nobody should try and repeat

I listen to mostly to heavy metal but I like them because they are different. They make an amazing show and play 100% for the fans. Besides they are quite original although some compare them to Laibach. However I don`t see any similarities apart from the German language (although not everything is in German since Laibach are from Slovenia). I have listened to Laibach albums for the purpose and I didn`t liked them. Strange, monotonous noises and almost no guitars, more experimental music than metal! But I really like Rammstein especially Mutter and the following albums.
:electric: I am going to see the Kings Of Metal soon! Other Bands play Manowar kill ;)

Rammstein are okay - A mate said to be that they aren't serious and are in the biz to play music, tour, and have a good time (as the lyrics reflect). You ain't going to get any serious environmental, political, statements from them.
