Dead Again set for release in the states on March 13.
I found this particularly interesting, because of the cover with Russian letters being used in the name and album title, along with a photo of who I believe is Grigori Rasputin.

Yep, that's indeed Rasputin. They're coming to milwaukee in april, and Celtic Frost is opening (?!?!). On a wierd side note, when I went to see Motley Crue after vince neil left (1993 or 94), Type o Negative was the opening band. King's X was also supposed to play, but cancelled that night. Talk about a wierd crowd mix.

Really, that's unusual design! Some letters are Russian and some are English, and some Russian ones are spelled not correctly! It's interesting to know what's the reason of band's choosing Rasputin for the cover (you see, I live in Russia) and it's more interesting to get to know their lyrics concerning Christianity.

Unless Peter Steel and the band have repented, the lyrics are definitely NOT Christian-friendly.

Yeah, that's the matter.I saw one, the title was Christian woman. But when reading some others, I found out that they speak negatively about religion.

Strange as it may seem, I found this at www.jesusmetal.com (Forum).

I also heard some gossip about Peter steele of Type 0 negative who aprrenitly said that he became a Christian now and that Type 0 negative will now also have more spiritual lyrics, there is already a anti-abortion song on the new album.
I wonder, is it true or only a gossip?

Well, apparently Steele said in the latest issue of Czech Spark magazine (http://www.spark-rockmagazine.cz/) that he has recently found his faith.

Yes, Peter went back to his Catholic roots and many of the lyrics on the new album are Christian based. They have one song that is a strong indictment against abortion. Really very cool! He has some weird theology though as another songs talks about how the tree of knowledge was actually sex and that Adam raped Eve in the Garden. The cd still has some cuss words but overall the songs are very positive and Christian friendly.

That's interesting. Also, I read that Tara Vanflower of Lycia fame (a classic darkwave band with christian members) appears on Dead Again.

Yes, she sings on a song called "Halloween In Heaven".

hehe i love the line in one of new songs....."Turn you cheek gets ripped off
That’s why god gave us four" i think it means ass too....:D
But realy i like new album....These three things ...
"The child is torn from the womb unbaptised
There’s no question it’s infanticide
I’m guilty so therefore condemned
Destroying angels must come to an end now in limbo
Deprived of paradise that’s not so nice"
Who would expect that from Peter.....I guess his mother rosarys finally payed of...Im wondering if he will still sing some songs...Ie Christian woman....
