My band just played a show lastnight near Milwaukee, WI. the band that played after us was from Saginaw, MI. One of their guitarists had only one hand! his left arm was amputated just below the elbow. but amazingly, he could play anything just as good as any other guitarist that I've seen.
With his left arm being amputated, he taped a pick to the end of that arm and played a left handed 7 string strung up like a right handed guitar upside down. He could play all the chugs, squeals, and leads that I've seen anyone else do. I'd put their band's sound somewhere between metalcore and nu-metal, so it's not something all that simple to play considering what could be viewed as limitations.
