So, I've asked it before, but nobody gave me a proper answer, so I ask it again:D What do you think of Graveworm?I know that they have occult lyrical themes, but the lyrics of their first album(When daylight's gone 1997) contains pretty much Christian-friendly themes.
In their other albums, they don't sing much about anti-Christianity(maybe only on their album Scourge of malice and there's a song, By the grace of God, which is I think aaginst religion), but they do sing about demons. However, their latest album, (N)utopia is totally neutral to religion.
I know that Fiori, the singer was a member of Abigor, an anti-Christian band.
Still, they play an unique style of black metal(a genre I don't really like).

I love Graveworm. They're neutral towards religion, they're neither a Satanist band nor a Christian band. Frontman Stefan Fiori said in one interview that he believes in religion, but doesn't think that the Catholic church as an institution is good (http://www.deadfall.org/interviews.php?id=61). And in another interview he said that the lyrics on Underneath the Crescent Moon, As the Angels Reach the Beauty and Scouge of Malice are purely fictional, based on south Tyrolese mythology, and have nothing to do with religion.

Oh, that's good!I mean that they have nothing to do with anti-Christianism.Graveworm was the first, and so far the only black metal band I really like.
Thanks for the information!:)

1. Awake
Dying I scream for life
But your eyes are sleeping forever now
Wondering what's to come
I remember the light of your life
Silence shadows of life
Sleep into eternal time
Darkness revenge on earth
My tears are falling above the face
I saw the fallen angel
Kreeping from time to time
Awake jesus christ - the world must survive
A light in front of me appears
I am at the door of fear
Gone is the day and so the time
The light goes off before I cry
Awake Jesus Christ - I saw the hope
Crying the time has come
To destroy the faith on this earth
Jesus christ welcome to be
The saver of this faithless life
Destroying the darkest night
Before the sun will rise for light
Saving nature's life
The sea of blood must stoping now
I saw the fallen angel - die
