The MR. BEAN appreciation thread

Anyone here like Mr. Bean? If so, what are your fav episode(s)?

I like the laundromat episode where he accidentally puts on that one lady's skirt. Also, later in that same episode, I like it how he plays mini golf and hits the ball all over the place.

I also like the episode where he accidentally locks himself out of his hotelroom while he's naked.

Rowen Atkinson is without a doubt one of the most underappreciated commedians of all time. :headbang:

True, that guy can really make me laugh, hehe.... yeah the one where he's doing his laundry is really good, but my favorite is the one where he's at church singing Halleluja Halleluja... ja.....ja.... hehe, cracks me up :D

the church one is my favourite episode too. that was the very first mr bean episode actually. the one with diy dentistry is also gut bustingly funny too! gee, you fellers have good taste!

I dont like Mr. Bean ... In fact I thought I hated the actor, but then I discovered Black Adder and realized that I actually do like him.

I am not a Mr Bean fan, either...but I love almost every other thing I've seen Rowen Atkinson in.

There is one Mr Bean scene that I do like, however...it's the one where he is changing out of his trousers into his swimming trunks on a beach, and is trying to do it so the person sunbathing on the beach doesn't see his dangly bits...

I like the episode where he is shooping and buys a comfy arm chair. But to get it home he puts it on the roof of his car and drives the car home while sitting in the arm chair :)

However, Atkinson was funny in Rat Race.

I loved Johnny English

my favorite Mr Bean episode was where he was standing in front of Buckingham palace and taking pictures of the palace guards and tried to distract him by doing stuff and then starts cutting the fur off his hat and keeps cutting and the guard isnt doing anything until the changing of the guard and then you see Mr Bean running for his life

TRUE STORY: While I was on outreach with YWAM in Nothern Ireland we went to this Penecostal Church. While there we start singing this one hymn. I singing it, and thinking to myself "goodness, this sounds familiar, but I've never sung this hymn before." Then it hit me, it was the Hymn from the Mr. Bean church episode.

At that point I almost burst out laughing and had to hold it in through the rest of the song.

well, the character isn't as stupid as you might think. for someone to come up with the ingenious solutions to problems that he does... well, that's quite creative really! :p
