No replies, how sad. Yes I am somewhat of a fan. I have only heard their early material but I dig the dark sound. I enjoyed Sentenced as well.. and I am into other stuff like Paradise Lost, To/Die/For, etc which has similarities.. Need to check out the new album.

Yeah, the new album is pretty different from Escapextacy.It sounds more like Sentenced with agressive guitar riffs, Laihiala's lower voice...the whole album is full of melodies.It's nothing like goth metal(fortunately:) )

some goth metal / rock can be pretty good. but as long as it's catchy. That's why I like 69 eyes, despite the fact that they have thousands of teeny bopper wannabe goth fans. from what you're saying this album sounds worth checking out.

Many say that they are better than Sentenced.I doubt it, but there are some very good songs.The lyrics however are weaker.
